It's great that you care about protecting your details, I do too. Here’s how it works. 

 

This site uses Google Analytics, so your movements are tracked, but not in a way I can tell who you are. What I can tell are things like which pages were open for the longest. This is the type of wonderful information I will then spend hours trying to work out if you spent time because there was lots of useful information on the page, or if you became bored and clicked away to just leave the page neglected on an open tab… Ultimately my issue not yours.

 

This site also uses Facebook Ads, so if you’re logged into Facebook my website can ‘see’ your profile as much as a computer can see anything. Best to check Facebook for the details they change regularly. As a human looking at site details I can tell if you’ve clicked on a Facebook ad to bring you here, or if you didn’t. I have no idea if you’ve got a great profile pic or hot friends. I’m sure you do, tell them about the site. 

 

Your information:

If you do share your personal details with me (no judgement if you use an alias) they’ll be used for the purpose for which they’re given. That is, if you give me your email for a newsletter, I’ll send you a newsletter. If you provide info to do some shopping so I can send you one of my wonderful yoga straps then they’ll be used for that. Nothing tricky. 

 

This site is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. How good is that?

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by 108 Yoga Road adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

The neat thing about WIX is they have an email service so I can avoid any third party providers. Your information won’t be going anywhere. I’ll update these terms if that changes and, if I have your email I’ll let you know.
